Dr. Pankaj Abrol

He is practicing Pediatrics since he completed his MBBS and MD (Pediatrics) from prestigious Institute of Medical Sciences, BHU in 1982. Dr Pankaj has been awarded fellowship, FIAP by Indian Academy of Pediatrics for extraordinary work in pediatrics. He also received Life Time Achievement Award from Indian Academy of Pediatrics, Haryana. He has worked efficiently in almost all areas of Pediatrics. He is a qualified trainer in neonatology (NALS), worked in immunization, nutrition, growth and development, pediatric intensive care, and had been a trainer in various national training programs like IMNCI, FIMNCI etc. He is trained in Pediatric Oncology at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, an institute par excellence. He established Pediatric Cancer Unit (PCU), Thalassemia Day Care and Hemophilia Day Care Centers in PGIMS Rohtak. He worked as Senior Professor Pediatrics & Head of Pediatric unit, along with Pediatric Hematology Oncology in PGIMS Rohtak. He worked in collaboration with Delhi based NGO, Cankids Kidscan and a USA based NGO Jiv daya for the patient care in PGIMS Rohtak. During Covid epidemic Dr Abrol worked for upgradation of Covid Intensive care facilities with the help of an NGO YouWeCan at PGIMS Rohtak. He has authored 3 books and published many chapters in various textbooks of Pediatrics, apart from presenting and publishing various research publications in national and international journals of repute.
